The project is meant to be something that has the ability to tell of the nature of native Oklahoma. The structure allows for a native grass commonly known as "switch grass" to be grown and used to filter light underneath; the presence of which requires the awaiting passenger to engage in an existential dichotomy of sorts between what's below them--cement, and what's really under them-- a unique natural environment which is in itself is much more enthralling than the concrete-clad cityscape around them.
